Our Mission
Our name, Nurturing Nature, and our logo—an image of a caregiver gently holding their child—embody the heart of our mission.
We are dedicated to helping children and caregivers thrive by providing therapeutic services, a welcoming community of care, and wellness workshops.
Our approach is child-centered, trauma-informed and evidence-based, weaving the latest methods in expressive arts, nurture neuroscience and somatic therapies to help children and parents thrive.
We understand that every family is unique and there is no one size fits all approach to parenting.
We are here for ALL families, and we are so glad you’re here.
Our Approach
-
We are passionate about supporting both children’s and adult’s emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. We integrate various therapeutic techniques, including traditional talk therapy, expressive arts therapy or yoga, to promote overall well-being.
-
We are deeply committed to supporting early childhood development for children from birth to eight years old. Our goal is to create an environment where children can feel safe, nurtured, and confident as they grow and explore their world.
-
We create a safe and welcoming environment for children and families who have experienced trauma or a recent challenging experience. Through our collaborative care model, we take time to build rapport and work together to develop therapeutic goals.
-
The various tools we offer to children, as well as their parents and caregivers, are backed by extensive research and are carefully designed to address the unique needs and challenges they may face.
-
All families are unique and have their own way of knowing what their infant or child needs. We provide sound information and work with families to achieve their goals and help them feel empowered by their own parenting style.
Our Environment
Our therapy space is colorful, airy and clean with natural light that is calming to the senses.
We have lots of plants in our office that we nurture and care for every day.
We have a rocking chair, comfy sofa and a child-proofed space that feels like home.
Our toys and art materials are wooden or natural to promote healing and balance.
We often work on the floor with children, getting on their level.
We utilize expressive arts, yoga, communication, laughter and responsiveness to foster healing and to grow healthy relationships.
